Lettuce, Green Romaine

Grown in our awesome soil, you'll get a full flavored, sweet and crispy leaf that compliments any sandwich or Caesar salad. We rinse our lettuces twice at the farm but we always recommend you clean your greens just before serving.

Industrially produced romaine has been subject to multiple recals in the past decades from the food safety challenges of growing produce in the deserts of California and Arizona. This mostly arises from the growers using water that travels in open ditches for hundreds and hundreds of miles. Unlike that grocery store romaine, our lettuces are always irrigated with clean, uncontaminated water from the Florida Aquifer (from a permitted well that is tested quarterly for potability).
