While the existing injustices and externalized costs of the food system mean that agricultural workers typically receive lower wages than other industries for physically demanding and manually skilled work, we will continue to work to improve the wages and benefits we can offer. It is going to take more than individual businesses and farms making small changes, however, to achieve environmental and social justice in the food system. Today, and every day, please remember the effort and dedication our team puts forth to bring safe and healthy food to your table. Please continue to take steps in your daily lives to advocate for policy changes that support farm worker justice, fight against racism, protect our environmental resources, and protest peacefully to protect our civil rights and democracy until we see the change we need.
