Watsonia Farms is located in the rich farmland of inland South Carolina. We’re near Columbia, South Carolina and Augusta, Georgia – in a region we call “the top of the ridge”. Our small town of Monetta, SC dates back to pre-Revolutionary times.
The Watson family passion for farming began more than 100 years ago. Today, as thoughtful stewards of the land, the third and fourth generations of Watsons own and operate Watsonia Farms, specializing in organic produce.

Watsonia Organics enjoys a strong working relationship with the horticulturalists at Clemson University. Clemson uses the farm for researching innovative practices and for varietal test blocks. As forerunners in the industry, the use of cutting-edge practices and technologies can be found throughout the farm.
IPM (Integrated Pest Management) and customer product safety programs are also integral parts of our daily operation.
Effective food safety practices, policies and procedures are all essential to protect the health and safety of our consumers. They are also critical to assure the safety and quality of their foods entering the marketplace are able to adapt to the appropriate food industry requirements.
Consumers today are taking a unique interest in the origin of their foods; from how it’s prepared, to the farm where the ingredients are grown. Our well-trained staff is committed to developing and maintaining the farms’ food safety program.
Our farm is made up of multiple components to ensure that the end product is safe for consumption: Crop Inputs, Ranch, Harvest, Traceability and Facility.
